I teach students technical and musical skills through standard repertoire and music they enjoy

I teach private and group saxophone and clarinet lessons to students of all levels and beginning flute students.

In my private studio, I work with students of all levels and my goal is to teach to the students’ interests. I hope to instill in my students the same love of music that my many teachers have gifted me, and to give them a musical lens in which they can see the world through.

I teach each student as an individual; teaching to their ability and interests. I use an array of teaching materials and approaches including, scale and chord studies, rhythm studies, jazz standards, various books, movie and video game music, pop songs, and more.

I am the music director and teacher at ArTES Magnet High School in San Fernando. Additionally, I teach privately in the Los Angeles area.
